Job summary

Susquehanna in Sydney, Australia is seeking a senior software engineer to develop high performance C# distributed, server-based and front-end trading systems, working closely with traders and quantitative researchers on trading models and signals.

You will collaborate with multiple technology teams to deliver integrated software for trading, leveraging cloud, web services and Linux/Python/C++ knowledge as beneficial.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional C# or similar development experience.
• Tertiary education in Computer Science or related field.
• Understanding of basic financial instruments or financial education beneficial.
• Experience in Financial Trading Systems or live financial data and order systems.
• Experience with web services, distributed systems or cloud technologies beneficial.
• Experience or interest in Linux, Python or C++ beneficial.
• Experience or interest in WPF or other UI technologies beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with traders and researchers on developing high performance C# distributed, server-based and front-end trading systems.
• Work closely with quantitative researchers on implementing trading models and signals.
• Work across other technology teams to develop integrated software for trading.
