Job summary

Yooralla is hiring High Intensity Outside School Hours Care Educators in Port Melbourne to support school‑aged children with disabilities in a specialist setting. Casual and/or part‑time shifts run Monday to Friday, with after‑school and vacation care slots; hourly rates vary with qualifications.

You will work with a compassionate OSHC team to build engaging experiences, foster wellbeing and learning, and partner with families.

Qualifications

• Experience in the OSHC/early education or disability services sector.
• Qualifications or actively working towards a certification aligned with the Victorian ACECQA National Quality Framework - desirable
• Willingness to obtain First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates if not already held.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection requirements.

Join our High Intensity Outside School Hours Team working in a specialist school setting and become an integral part of our mission to support school-aged children and young people (aged 5-18) with disabilities in choosing the lives they want to live.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with fellow educators/OSHC team, children and parents to foster positive relationships in the community and create meaningful and engaging experiences to support children's learning, engagement and wellbeing.

We have casual and/or part time positions available working Monday to Friday
After School Care: 3.00pm - 6.00pm
Vacation Care: 9.00am-5.00pm

About you

• experience in the OSHC/early education or disability services sector.
• Qualifications or be actively working towards a certification in alignment with the Victorian ACECQA National Quality Framework- desirable
• willingness to be committed to empowering children/young people to reach their goals, and to upholding quality and safeguards in your everyday work
• effective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clients
• ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
• willingness to support children/young people with personal care activities
• Willingness to obtain a First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates if you don't already have one.
• Child Protection Training / Mandatory Reporting
• Completed or willingness to complete Include ED@OSHC learning frameworks/modules
