Job summary

The NWH Group is a leading waste management business operating across multiple sites. We are seeking a driver with a valid Class 2 HGV licence to operate skip lift vehicles on scheduled routes and deliver excellent customer service.

You will load/unload skips, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain logs while complying with safety policies. Training is provided for those new to waste/recycling driving.

Qualifications

• Valid full Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• A great attitude and commitment to high standards.
• Previous waste/recycling driving experience preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate skip lift vehicles on scheduled routes.
• Load and unload skips and containers.
• Conduct daily safety and vehicle checks; keep logs updated.
• Follow road safety laws and company policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service at collection/delivery points.

Hours: 40-50 hours per week with overtime options available

Rate of Pay: £14.46 per hour

Overtime Rate of Pay: £21.69 per hour

What Will You Be Doing?

• Safely operatingskip lift vehicles on scheduled routes
• Loading, unloading, and transporting skips and containers
• Conducting daily safety and vehicle checks; keeping vehicle logs updated
• Following road safety laws and company policies at all times
• Delivering excellent customer service at collection/delivery points

What Are We Looking For?

• A full, valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• No more than 6 points on yourlicence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• A great attitude and commitment to performing the job to the highest standard.
• Previous waste/recycling driving experience is preferred, but not essential -we provide comprehensive training.
