STG Global Pty Ltd in Stapylton, Queensland, is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Fitter/Assembler for a permanent full-time role at our Stapylton facility. The role focuses on assembling and fitting heavy-duty trucks and components to exact specifications.

You will test and adjust assemblies, maintain strong safety standards, and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver projects on time. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented environment with modern equipment and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as Heavy Vehicle Fitter/Assembler or similar mechanical role.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and SOPs.
• Experience with heavy vehicle assembly.
• Competent with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the workshop.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fit heavy-duty trucks
• Install and adjust parts and components, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards
• Test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety protocols

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Fitter/Assembler or in a similar mechanical role
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle assembly
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and SOP's (standard operating procedures).
• Skilled in using hand and power tools required for vehicle assembly
• Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the workshop
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A reliable, honest, and positive attitude—you're someone the team can count on
