Velocity Truck Centres Australia on the Gold Coast is offering a Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Apprenticeship for ambitious individuals. You will undertake a 4-year program to earn a nationally recognised Certificate III while gaining hands-on experience on American, Japanese and European trucks.

You will learn from experienced technicians, follow manufacturer procedures, and work in a safe, supportive team. The role includes above‑award wages, fully funded TAFE, a brand-new toolkit or tool

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in automotive industry
• Willingness to learn and commit to TAFE studies
• Manual driver’s licence or ability to obtain one
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Complete a 4-year apprenticeship while earning a nationally recognised Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Gain hands-on experience on American, Japanese and European light and heavy vehicles
• Assist qualified technicians with servicing, diagnostics and repairs
• Learn and follow manufacturer procedures and industry best practices
• Maintain a safe, organized and tidy workspace
• Collaborate with experienced technicians and service teams to develop skills
