Transport for NSW is seeking a qualified Mechanical Tradesperson to undertake maintenance and repairs on plant items, vehicles and heavy equipment at Broken Hill. You’ll install, service and modify complex hydraulic/pneumatic machinery and may supervise apprentices.

You should hold an Automotive Vehicle Mechanic Qualification with heavy-vehicle exposure and a current NSW white card. A valid NSW driving licence is essential, with MR/HR licences advantageous.

Competenze

• Automotive Vehicle Mechanic Qualification with heavy vehicles and plant exposure.
• Current Construction Industry White Card.
• Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence.
• MR or HR Driver’s Licence viewed favourably.
• Welding and metal fabrication experience desirable.
• Willingness to undertake any licensing or ticketing requirements as directed.

Mansioni

• Undertake maintenance and repairs on a range of plant items, vehicles, and mechanical equipment.
• Install, maintain, repairs, commissioning and modification of complex machinery driven by hydraulic/pneumatic principles.
• Supervise apprentices or staff assisting other mechanics as required across the area.
• Attend after hour callouts and travel throughout NSW to locations away from the base.
• This is an ongoing full-time role located at Broken Hill.
