Job summary

Randstad Pty in Sydney is recruiting for an experienced Service Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join its NSW aftermarket team. You will service heavy trailers, diagnose faults, and uphold high safety standards in a busy workshop.

The role requires a trade qualification, 4 years’ experience in heavy vehicle or trailer maintenance, and strong fault-finding skills around braking and suspension systems. A collaborative workshop culture and strong leadership support are on offer.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified heavy vehicle or diesel mechanic.
• 4 years' experience in heavy vehicle/trailer maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding on braking and suspension systems.
• Commitment to WHS and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections on heavy vehicle trailers.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Replace and repair suspensions, braking systems, wheel-ends, and structural trailer components.
• Complete job cards and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop.
