Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking a motivated 1st Year Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice to join one of our established host employers in Nowra, NSW.

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside qualified heavy vehicle technicians, you'll develop practical skills across a range of workshop duties, including:

• Servicing and maintaining trucks and heavy commercial vehicles.

• Assisting with the diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical faults.

• Working on engines, brakes, steering and suspension systems.

• Assisting with drivetrain and transmission repairs and maintenance.

• Replacing and repairing mechanical components.

• Conducting vehicle inspections, testing and safety checks.

• Learning to use diagnostic equipment and workshop technology.

• Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.

• Maintaining a safe, clean and professional workshop environment.

As your apprenticeship progresses, you'll take on greater responsibility and continue developing your mechanical, technical and diagnostic skills.

About You
