Job summary

Parkes Shire Council offers a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice opportunity to begin a career in the heavy vehicle mechanical industry. You will gain hands-on experience servicing, maintaining and repairing Council’s heavy vehicles, plant and equipment under the guidance of qualified mechanics.

The apprenticeship runs for four years, combining practical workplace experience with formal training to achieve a nationally recognised qualification and a start as a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
