Job summary

Kinetic Fleet Services (KFS) in Tweed Heads is seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our tight-knit team. You will perform general maintenance and repairs on heavy commercial fleets and contribute to major engine component rebuilds.

This role offers stable, long-term employment in a supportive work environment with an emphasis on safe work practices and professional development. Exposure to diagnostics and autonomous teamwork are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining and repairing heavy commercial fleets.
• Exposure to computer-controlled diagnostics is a bonus.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose engine and system faults using computer diagnostics where applicable.
• Contribute to major engine component rebuilds as required.
• Work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
