Job summary

Kinetic Group is seeking a Casual Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for our Cairns workshop. You will perform general maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and contribute to engine component rebuilds, with a mix of autonomous and team-based work in a local setting.

The role offers flexible, local hours and long-term prospects within a leading bus services provider’s network across Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Previous experience in maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet.
• Exposure to diagnostics via computer controlled systems is a bonus.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles.
