CPR Group Ltd seeks an experienced Light and Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to service a diverse fleet across the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain light vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to keep operations safe and reliable.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or equivalent.
• Proven experience servicing and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair procedures.
• Current Driver's Licence (HR licence highly regarded).
• ARCtick air conditioning certification and safety accreditations are preferred.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on light and heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
• Perform breakdown repairs and fault finding as required.
• Complete maintenance, inspection, and repair documentation accurately.
• Carry out inspections to identify potential defects and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and company standards.
• Coordinate with the parts department to ensure efficient completion of repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle & Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team.

You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a diverse fleet of light vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment. Working alongside a skilled team, you will play a key role in ensuring our vehicles and equipment remain safe, reliable, and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on light and heavy vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
• Perform breakdown repairs and fault finding as required
• Complete maintenance, inspection, and repair documentation accurately

About You

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• HVAIS accreditation
• Pink Slip and Brown Slip certification
• Experience with fleet maintenance programs
• Air conditioning certification (ARCtick)
