Job summary

L&F Transfers is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and performance of our modern heavy vehicle and light vehicle fleet. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and committed to safety and operational excellence.

You will coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance, manage records and compliance, and build strong relationships with contractors and suppliers to minimise downtime and improve fleet KPI.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating fleet maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of heavy and light vehicle compliance and maintenance scheduling.
• High level of understanding for identification and securing of parts for vehicles.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• Proficient experience with Teletrac Navman (desirable).
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to create strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative and reactive fleet maintenance.
• Schedule servicing, repairs, registrations and COIs.
• Ensure fleet compliance with legislative and mine site requirements.
• Manage maintenance records, work orders and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and repair contractors.
• Monitor vehicle performance and minimise downtime.
• Prioritise repairs and maintenance activities.
• Prepare monthly KPI and fleet performance reports.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Travel to local depots will be required monthly on a rotating basis.
