Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle and Bus Mechanics to demonstrate the practical skills, trade background and reliability required in demanding Western Australian environments.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse fleet while building on your professional experience. FIFO and residential options are available, with sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

482 visa sponsorship may be available.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle, Diesel or Bus Mechanics.
• Proven experience maintaining heavy vehicles.
• Experience with buses, coaches, trucks or similar fleet vehicles.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Willingness to work in regional Western Australia.
• Current driver's license, with HR desirable.
• Successful completion of required medical assessment.
• Successful completion of drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical issues.
• Diagnose faults using practical mechanical knowledge and diagnostic methods.
• Complete repairs to heavy vehicles, buses and associated equipment.
• Maintain engines, transmissions and vehicle components.
• Assist with breakdown and repair requirements.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards.
• Maintain quality workmanship across all assigned tasks.
• Work cooperatively with workshop and field maintenance teams.
• Follow all workplace procedures and compliance requirements.
