Emeco International in Adelaide, SA, is seeking a Heavy Road Transport Technician to service Scania R620 road trains and belly dump trailers at Olympic Dam. You'll work on heavy trucks and fleets, ensuring safety and reliability.

This role requires hands-on experience with Scania R620s, road trains, hydraulic and electrical systems, and diagnostics. A Trade qualification and Australian working rights are preferred; a safety-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with Scania R620 road trains and belly dump trailers.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Proven heavy-vehicle maintenance experience.
• Solid mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
• Heavy haulage or mining experience highly regarded.
• A safety-first mindset.
• Own workmanship pride and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen and Police Check.
• Full Australian Working Rights.

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Heavy Road Transport Technician to join our team at Olympic Dam, South Australia, keeping our fleet of Scania R620 road trains and belly dump trailers running safely, reliably and without unnecessary drama.

And we’re going to be straight up, we’re looking for someone who has spent plenty of time under, around and inside these trucks and trailers and know their way around them.

What We're Looking For

The big one: Significant hands on experience working on Scania R620 road trains and belly dump trailers.
