Job summary

Emeco Underground is seeking a Heavy Road Transport Technician at Olympic Dam, SA, to keep our Scania R620 road trains and belly dump trailers running safely and reliably. You’ll work under the truck, around and inside the formations, performing diagnostics, preventative maintenance and major repairs.

A Cert III in Heavy Vehicle Transport and hands-on experience with Scania equipment are essential. This role demands strong fault finding, driveline, hydraulic and electrical system knowledge, with

• Significant hands-on experience with Scania R620 road trains and belly dump trailers.
• Proven diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Heavy Road Transport Trade Qualification / Cert III.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Scania R620 road trains and belly dump trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and major repairs.
• Diagnostics and fault-finding on heavy vehicles.
• Work on driveline, braking and hydraulic systems.
• Attend to diverse fleet equipment on site.

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Heavy Road Transport Technician to join our team at Olympic Dam, South Australia, keeping our fleet of Scania R620 road trains and belly dump trailers running safely, reliably and without unnecessary drama.

And we’re going to be straight up, we’re looking for someone who has spent plenty of time under, around and inside these trucks and trailers and know their way around them.
