Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking a Heavy Diesel Fitter or Mobile Plant Mechanic for a permanent mining maintenance role in Mackay, Queensland. You will service and repair open cut surface equipment as part of a skilled maintenance team. Relocation assistance is available, with an even time roster, camp and meals.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification (Heavy Diesel Fitter or Mobile Plant Mechanic) with relative open cut mining experience.
• Experience on Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi mining surface equipment.
• Underground Fitters looking to transition to surface mining are welcome.
• Aspirations to grow professionally within the company and contribute positively.

Experience required:
