Job summary

Double M Earthmoving Resprays in Windsor, NSW, Australia, is seeking a skilled workshop tradesperson to prepare heavy machinery for spray painting. You will strip, repair and prep machines to a paint-ready standard, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a busy workshop.

Ideal candidates have trade experience in panel beating, fabrication, and spray painting prep, plus hands-on use of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Trade experience in panel beating, fabrication, spray painting preparation or similar.
• Good knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to work independently without needing to be chased.
• A solid work ethic and reliable attitude.
• The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Panel beating and dent repairs
• Cutting, grinding and metal preparation
• Welding and basic fabrication
• Repairing and replacing damaged panels
• Filling, sanding and surface preparation
• Stripping machinery and components
• DA sanding and hand sanding
• General prep work prior to spray painting
• Working alongside spray painters to achieve a quality finish
• General knowledge of R&R
