Job summary

1300 Apprentice is offering a 1st-year Boiler Making Apprenticeship in Sydney. The employer has over 70 years of manufacturing experience and operates plants in NSW and Victoria.

You will learn welding, cutting, metal fabrication and equipment maintenance while earning Above Award pay. The role includes building trailers, storage racks and repairing machinery, with on‑the‑job training and dedicated mentor support.

Qualifications

• Interest in welding, metalwork, machinery and engineering.
• Willingness to learn from tradespeople and follow instructions.
• Commitment to attend TAFE and complete training and examinations.
• Driver’s licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Learn welding, cutting and metal fabrication fundamentals.
• Assist with construction and repair of company vehicle bodies.
• Help fabricate and repair trailers and build metal storage racks.
• Attend TAFE and complete assessments for Cert III in Engineering Heavy Fabrication.
