Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Leeton, NSW, is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to maintain and repair heavy diesel equipment across mining and power generation applications. This is a full-time, on-site role with a 38-hour week, relocation assistance available, and penalty-rate overtime.

You will diagnose, service, and rebuild engines, and work in a safety-focused team environment. Ideal candidates hold a MVTC certificate or equivalent heavy diesel trade and have hands-on experience with heavy diesel

Qualifications

• MVTC - Motor vehicle trade certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, ideally with an OEM.
• Mechanical trade qualification as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or Light Vehicle with Heavy experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
• Diagnose and repair enginesDisassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components
• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
