Job summary

Emeco and Olympic Dam are seeking a Heavy Diesel Technician to diagnose faults, maintain a diverse fleet and keep operations moving on site at Olympic Dam, SA. You will work across CAT loaders, graders and road trains, performing preventative maintenance and major repairs to ensure reliability.

With 2:2 rosters, choose a role that offers on-site camp facilities, flight/accommodation provisions and a performance bonus scheme. Strong mining heavy equipment experience is highly regarded.

We're on the hunt for an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to join our crew at Olympic Dam, helping keep our fleet running safely and reliably.

What You'll Be Working On

You’ll get your hands on a seriously impressive fleet, including:

• CAT 992K/G Loaders
• CAT 14M & 16M Graders
• Scania R620 Road Trains & Belly Dump Trailers

From preventative maintenance to diagnostics and major repairs, you’ll play a key role in keeping equipment available, reliable and production ready.

What We're Looking For

• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
• Experience on heavy earthmoving equipment (mining experience highly regarded)
• A safety first mindset and pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen and Police Check
• Full Australian Working Rights
