Job summary

Emeco is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to join the Prominent Hill site in South Australia. You will diagnose faults, service a diverse fleet, and keep haul trucks and loaders production-ready on a 2/2 FIFO roster from any capital city in Australia.

The role offers full-time and casual options, with fortnightly pay, access to a gym and recreation facilities, and a social calendar to suit a FIFO lifestyle. Mining equipment experience and a safety-first mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills on heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Mining industry experience preferred and considered a plus.
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen and Police Check.

Responsibilities

• From preventative maintenance to diagnostics and major repairs, keep equipment available, reliable and production-ready on site.
• Diagnose faults, service and repair heavy diesel equipment to minimise downtime.
