Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a heavy diesel mechanic role.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop.
• Experience with trucks, trailers and heavy vehicles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance.
• Complete truck and trailer repairs and related workmanship.
• Follow procedures, complete job cards and service documentation.
• Maintain safe working practices at all times.
• Work closely with technicians and workshop staff.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
