Job summary

Ellico Group is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to support mining operations across the Bowen Basin. Floating across multiple sites, you will join crews ready to get the tools on and contribute to fleet maintenance.

We offer $72.50–$80/hr plus super, with ongoing 7/7 rosters, paid travel, accommodation and meals where applicable, plus a fresh fleet of Ford Rangers and EAP support. Immediate starts available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Certificate III trade qualification in heavy diesel or related field.
• Minimum two years’ experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Current QLD Coal Board Medical and Standard 11.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Experience maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment.
• CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr or similar equipment experience valued.
• Dragline maintenance experience highly regarded.
• Working at Heights, EWP, Dogging and high-risk licences valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, fault-find and repair heavy mining equipment.
• Operate across multiple Bowen Basin sites with rosters.
• Collaborate with crews to ensure equipment reliability.

It’s a good problem to have… but we need your help solving it.

Ellico Group has continued to grow across the Bowen Basin, and right now we’ve got more opportunities on the table than we have Heavy Diesel Fitters to fill them.

We’re looking for experienced fitters who are ready to get on the tools and join our crews across multiple Bowen Basin operations.

We are chasing qualified legend to join our field service team floating around various sites across the Bowen basin.

These aren’t “maybe one day” positions. We’ve got genuine roles available and we’re ready to get the right people moving.
