Job summary

Programmed is seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (HD Fitter) for FIFO work in WA. You will maintain and repair mining equipment from Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr, performing change-outs, rebuilds and diagnostics.

Excellent rosters and onsite support are provided. HR/licence, police clearance and WA-based candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full Australian work rights required.
• National Police Clearance willing to obtain.
• FIFO/mining experience highly regarded.
• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent).
• Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence (HR Licence desirable).
• High Risk Work Licences - Forklift, Basic Rigging & Elevated Work Platform (Willing to obtain).

The Role

As a HD Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of mining equipment, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr machinery. Your duties will include:

• Major component change-outs
• Machine rebuilds and overhauls
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Breakdown repairs and maintenance
• Ensuring equipment reliability and performance
