Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an On-site Technician to troubleshoot and repair Cummins powered equipment at the Clermont Mine. You will also perform general maintenance on mining equipment and document all service activities.

Relocation may be considered for the right candidate. The role involves 7/7 roster with 12.5-hour shifts, day/night options, and on-site camp facilities including meals and gym. Strong field engine experience and Australian Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Diesel Fitter are

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Accurate data collection and precise record keeping.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Proactive hands-on approach and willingness to work in field conditions.
• Heavy-duty engine experience in field or workshop environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Cummins powered equipment on site.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance on mining equipment.
• Use specialized tools and follow procedures to diagnose and complete repairs.
• Coach on preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
• Document service work, timesheets and warranty claims accurately.
