Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Mangoola (Hunter NSW) is seeking a Chpp Technician Mechanical Electrical to deliver field service and support for heavy diesel equipment.

The role involves travel to mining sites, breakdown and preventative maintenance, and training on Tier 4 HHP engines after Cummins instruction. A trade qualification and valid license are required, with on-site/off-site flexibility as part of the roster.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Plant or Heavy Diesel with relevant servicing experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience servicing heavy diesel engines and mining equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class service to mining customers as a travelling Field Service Technician.
• Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Support new Tier 4 HHP engines following Cummins training.

We are looking for talented Field Service Diesel Mechanics to join our team in the Hunter region. Based at our Muswellbrook branch, our team specialises in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across high horsepower mining and industrial applications.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Deliver a first-class service to our mining customers as a travelling Field Service Technician
• Perform breakdown and preventative tasks
• Deliver support for our new Tier 4 HHP engines, the most advanced HHP product on the market following fully Cummins technical training

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Relevant trade qualification (Plant or Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel)
• A valid driver's license
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines and similar applications is preferred

5 on / 4 off day/night shift
