Job summary

Cummins Asia Pacific is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our Brisbane Master Rebuild Centre. This role focuses on rebuilding high-horsepower engines, offering a path from light to heavy diesel sectors in a world-class facility.

You will work in a structured, team-oriented environment with state-of-the-art tooling and documentation systems. Opportunities for training and career progression are provided, including a transition to afternoon shifts in the future.

Qualifications

• Open to all mechanical related trade qualifications.
• Experience in engine assembly – heavy equipment desirable.
• Ability to consistently generate high-quality work.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work in a structured team environment.

Responsibilities

• Remanufacture high horsepower diesel engines for mining customers.
• Work with a skilled team to deliver ‘As New’ reconditioned engines using high-tech equipment.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report issues to the Production Manager.
• Complete Safety Check Sheets, Process Quality Checks and Daily Time Sheets.
• Access Cummins world-class engine training and participate in continuous improvement.
• Support a team that values and promotes continuous improvement.
