Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a motivated construction laborer to support foreman and skilled craft workers at the Jacksonville airport site. This entry-level role provides hands-on learning in dirt work, concrete, pipe fitting and general site duties under close supervision.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and MVR. The job involves outdoor work, heavy physical activity, and adherence to safety policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform heavy physical activity outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to job sites.
• Ability to learn under supervision and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Digging, spreading and leveling dirt, sand and gravel with hand tools.
• Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials.
• Join, wrap and seal sections of pipe.
• Perform routine non-machine and machine tasks as assigned.
