Job summary

Nearheal in Western Australia is seeking a customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendant to join our hotel team. You will deliver efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests, while upholding standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food and beverage outlet.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food & beverage service is provided to all guests.
• Familiarise yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
• Set up systems to protect and maintain control of food service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
• Set up and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for the food service areas to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards.
• Ensure team members are competent in menu, dietary and allergens knowledge; able to suggest beverages and wine list; aware of current promotions.
• Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
• Maintain currency of RSA certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
• Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following opening/closing/daily procedures.
• Oversee the setup and reset of specific Conference & Function activities as required.
• Assist with preparation of rosters, ensuring suitable and cost-effective employee levels; rosters authorised by department head.
