Job summary

Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute in Darlinghurst, NSW, is seeking a Part-time Heart Health Check Quality & Training Lead to oversee quality, training and compliance for the Heart Health Check program. This role involves delivering mobile checks across Sydney and interstate locations with regular travel and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering health screening or other health-related services.
• Background in healthcare, nursing, allied health, pathology, or health science would be highly regarded.
• Experience training, mentoring or coaching others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport quickly.
• Highly organized, reliable and capable of working autonomously in varied environments.
• Sound judgement and problem-solving skills, particularly in field settings.
• Flexible and willing to travel regularly, including interstate and overnight trips.
• Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Heart Health Checks across a variety of community and workplace settings.
• Training, onboarding and coaching team members to build capability and confidence.
• Developing and maintaining training materials, guides and operational resources.
• Identifying quality, compliance and clinical risks and driving effective solutions.
• Supporting consistent delivery of clinical protocols, testing procedures and participant care.
• Monitoring equipment performance, quality controls and testing readiness.
• Acting as a trusted point of support for clinical and operational queries from the team.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives based on field experience and participant feedback.
