Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Space and Asset Manager to lead the management of the Trust's property portfolio and related matters across NHS sites in East and West Sussex. You will handle landlord/tenant negotiations, rent reviews, lease renewals, service charges, and occupational licenses, while coordinating acquisitions and disposals.

You will identify fit-for-purpose premises for healthcare teams, conduct site inspections, and ensure estates strategies

Qualifications

• Manages and negotiates landlord/tenant arrangements, rent reviews and lease renewals.
• Oversees service charges and occupational licenses/leases in line with policy.
• Identifies premises requirements and conducts site inspections for space allocation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day property management for the Trust's estate portfolio.
• Engage with healthcare occupiers and NHS partners to negotiate leases and related contracts.
• Manage acquisitions, disposals, and due diligence for property transactions.
• Ensure alignment with NHS policies and RICS best practices.
• Optimise revenue opportunities and manage service charges for landlord and tenant capacity.
