Job summary

Victorian Department of Health is seeking a Manager Safer Together Team 1 to lead an improvement team and oversee strategic projects that enhance quality and safety in Victorian healthcare.

You will partner with clinicians, health service leaders and lived-experience groups to co-design, deliver and evaluate initiatives using data and evidence to achieve measurable outcomes. Remuneration reflects senior public-sector levels and flexible work options are available.

Qualifications

• Previous project management experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of the Victorian health system and department processes.
• Masters qualification in public health or similar desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of strategic improvement initiatives within Safer Care Victoria's Improvement Branch.
• Co-design, deliver and evaluate improvement initiatives with clinicians, health service leaders and lived-experience partners.
• Set priorities, manage performance and resources, and develop team capability.
