Job summary

The Department of Health in Victoria is seeking a Senior Project Officer to deliver key improvement initiatives across the Improvement Branch. You will apply improvement science, teach and embed the model for improvement, and coordinate governance, risks, milestones, measurement and reporting to achieve better care and outcomes for Victorians.

You will work with stakeholders to monitor progress against objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring the delivery aligns

Qualifications

• Previous project management experience is essential (healthcare setting highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of the Victorian health system, department processes and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project governance, stakeholder engagement, risks, milestones, measurement, reporting and learning activities.
• Use data and feedback to maintain momentum and adapt delivery.
• Monitor and report progress against program objectives and plans.
• Embed a continuous improvement approach to delivery.
