Job summary
West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) is seeking an experienced ICT Application & Database Team Leader to join our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership, governance and improvement across clinical and business applications, integrations and databases to support patient care and organisational decisions.
As part of WGHG’s evolving ICT structure, you will lead ICT staff, coordinate priorities with vendors and stakeholders,
Qualifications
- A tertiary IT qualification or substantial technical knowledge with senior ICT experience.
- Experience leading ICT staff within application, database or service delivery.
- Proven governance and improvement of application/database services in a complex environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead governance, support, maintenance and improvement of applications, integrations and databases.
- Ensure services are secure, documented and disaster recovery ready.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and coaching to ICT staff.
- Contribute to projects, testing, planning and post-implementation reviews.
- Develop procedures, standards and reports to support service delivery.
