The Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne, seeks a Data Governance and Privacy Lead to strengthen how the health service manages, protects and uses its data. You will implement the Data Governance Framework, set clear standards and accountabilities for data management, and advise on privacy and information governance across clinical, operational and research teams.

Formación

• Experience in data governance, information governance, privacy or information management.
• Experience developing data governance frameworks, policies, standards and operating models.
• Strong understanding of privacy and health information legislation.
• Experience establishing data ownership, stewardship and data quality improvement processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across clinical, corporate and technical teams.
• Experience managing change in a regulated environment.
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in data management, information systems or governance; DAMA-DMBOK familiarity is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, standards and processes across the organisation.
• Work with clinical and corporate teams to establish data ownership, stewardship and accountability.
• Provide advice on privacy, information management, data sharing and compliance.
• Improve data quality by defining common definitions, data elements and governance processes.
• Partner with data engineering, analytics and technical teams to embed governance in systems and reporting.
• Build organisational awareness and capability through stakeholder engagement and practical guidance.
