Job summary

Safer Care Victoria, part of the Victorian Department of Health, is seeking a System Insights Officer in Melbourne to identify and analyse emerging themes, trends, risks and opportunities across the organisation. You will combine quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources to provide timely insights that support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in public policy, health administration, business, population health, public health, health sciences, data analytics, social sciences, organisational psychology, or a related discipline is desirable.
• Relevant experience in research, analysis, reporting, policy, project support or a related field will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience collecting, analysing and synthesising information from a range of quantitative and qualitative sources to identify trends, themes and emerging issues.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare reports, briefs, presentations and other information products using clear, concise and accurate written communication.
• Demonstrated experience supporting organisational reporting, monitoring activities or information management processes, including maintaining accurate records and tracking actions and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and communicate emerging themes, trends, risks and opportunities across Safer Care Victoria.
• Coordinate information, prepare reports and briefings, and monitor actions arising from identified themes and issues.
• Contribute to a consistent and connected approach to understanding organisational priorities, emerging risks and system-wide challenges.
