Job summary

Thiess is seeking a Health, Safety & Training Administrator for the Eva Copper Mine Project in the Cloncurry region, Queensland. The role supports the HSET team, ensuring safe, efficient operations and regulatory compliance within a busy mining environment.

You will manage admin tasks, purchase orders, invoicing, onboarding, and data entry across Thiess systems, contributing to project success and workforce safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Health, Safety and Training Administrator in resources, construction, or similar industry is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume busy environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the on-site HSET Team.
• Manage and raise department purchase orders.
• Process department invoices.
• Ensure compliance with Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme; assist with onboarding.
• Maintain data in client and Thiess Incident Management Systems.
• Assist HSET Manager with monthly reports.
