Job summary

Endeavour Energy is seeking a Health & Safety Systems Manager to lead the effectiveness and continuous improvement of HSE systems and reporting across the business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will act as the key link between Health & Safety and Technology, ensuring data governance, system enhancements and executive reporting support operational excellence and safe outcomes at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Significant experience managing HSE systems and reporting in regulated industries.
• Strong expertise with SAP EHS or equivalent enterprise HSE systems.
• Experience ensuring data integrity, governance and reporting.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive/board reporting.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across technical and operational teams.

• Identify opportunities to enhance HSE systems, reporting, processes and user experience.

• Prepare high-quality executive and Board reports on safety performance.
• Manage health and safety audit and assurance programs for continuous improvement.
• Lead development of the Health and Safety Management System and drive AI-enabled improvements.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Systems Manager to join our team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

In this role, you will play a critical leadership position in driving the effectiveness, integrity and continuous improvement of Endeavour Energy's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) systems and reporting capability.

You will act as the key link between Health & Safety and Technology, ensuring our systems, data, reporting and improvement initiatives support operational excellence and positive safety outcomes across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Stakeholder Management & Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Health & Safety, Operations, Technology, Data & Insights and corporate stakeholders.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities to enhance systems, reporting, processes and user experience.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the Health & Safety and Technology teams, ensuring effective delivery of system enhancements and improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration and alignment on strategic health and safety priorities.

Systems, Data & Reporting

• Provide expert technical advice and support for SAP EHS and related health and safety systems.
• Lead ongoing improvements to HSE systems to enhance capability, efficiency and user adoption.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy and quality of health and safety data through robust governance and data management practices.
• Oversee the preparation, analysis and distribution of HSE performance reporting across the organisation.
• Prepare high-quality reports and insights for executive leadership and Board stakeholders, translating complex information into meaningful outcomes.
• Manage the annual health and safety audit and assurance program to support compliance and continual improvement.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the Health and Safety Management System.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, reporting and system functionality.
• Drive innovation through the development and implementation of AI-enabled and technology-based improvements across health and safety systems.
• Manage system-related projects from planning through to successful delivery.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Systems or a related discipline.
• Significant experience managing HSE systems, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives within utilities, energy, construction, infrastructure, electrical or similarly regulated industries.
• Strong expertise in SAP EHS or comparable enterprise HSE management systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing data integrity, reporting frameworks and governance processes.
• Experience delivering complex projects and working across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting and statistical tools such as Python, R, Power BI or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive and Board-level reports.
• Proven ability to influence, collaborate and build effective relationships across technical and operational teams.
