Job summary

Abergeldie is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join the Pitt Town Bypass Project in Sydney's north west. You will drive a positive safety culture across site operations and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities include inspections, incident investigations, safety planning and coaching, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement across civil construction activities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and best practice.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Ability to coach and influence project teams on safety matters.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project health and safety systems.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace observations.
• Facilitate incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist with risk assessments, SWMS reviews and safety planning.
