We are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join our Caval Ridge team in the Bowen Basin. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys spending time in the field building relationships, coaching others and providing practical support, while also balancing the office-based safety, reporting and administrative tasks that help teams work safely.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will work as a trusted advisor and support function across the Thiess operation on site. You will partner with Superintendents, supervisors, crews and support teams to strengthen engagement, improve risk awareness and help embed the site’s Safety and Health Management System in a way that is practical, visible and understood.
You will be a practical, approachable and people-focused safety professional who is comfortable working alongside operational teams. You will enjoy influencing through support, coaching and conversation rather than relying only on compliance.
