Job summary

The Department of Health in Victoria is seeking a Functional Support Analyst to provide second-level functional support for the Client Management System (CMS) used by Victorian Community Health Service Agencies. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate improvements with developers, vendors and clinical teams to ensure reliable service across agencies.

You will contribute to incident management, root cause analysis, and after-hours support while aligning with ITIL

Qualifications

• Tertiary IT qualification or relevant experience in Health IT.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent understanding of ITSM:**
• Experience supporting business or clinical applications in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level functional support for CMS and related Health Sector applications.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
• Log, track and manage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborate with developers, vendors, and clinical teams to implement fixes and improvements.
• Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations as required.
