Job summary
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is seeking a Health Intelligence BI specialist to turn complex data into trusted insights that support decision-making across clinical, operational and corporate domains. You will join a collaborative team delivering reliable reporting, dashboards and data products.
Reporting to the Director Health Intelligence, you will develop data solutions across multiple source systems, combining business intelligence with data analysis to enable informed choices and improved
Qualifications
- 5+ years in business intelligence with complex data warehouses and dimensional modelling.
- Experience translating business requirements into data models, reports, dashboards and analytical solutions.
- Strong SQL development and MS SQL Server technologies (SSMS/SSIS/SSAS).
- Experience with Power BI and Paginated Reports, ETL processes and automated data pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to resolve data quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Develop and enhance reports, dashboards, analytical products and data models.
- Maintain ETL processes and automated data pipelines across multiple source systems.
- Validate, reconcile and test data ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to ad hoc information requests and translate complex data into insights.
