Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking a world‑class educator to inspire the next generation of Health students at the Broken Hill campus. This permanent part‑time role focuses on delivering the Diploma of Nursing, with opportunities to support additional courses as needed.

Face‑to‑face delivery is primary, with some online components and occasional travel. The successful candidate will bring current nursing practice, AHPRA registration, and VET teaching qualifications, and will mentor students while collaborating

Qualifications

Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in acute care as a Registered Nurse.
Must hold teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Commit to maintaining VET knowledge, skills, and trainer/assessor competence.
Driver's Licence is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver educational programs and facilitate learning for students.
Primary focus on Diploma of Nursing with scope to support other course areas.
Face‑to‑face delivery in Broken Hill with some online components and occasional travel.
