Job summary

Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Project and Data Officer to join the SLHD Executive Medical Services team and support the VMO Oversight Program with project, analytical and administrative duties.

You will coordinate projects, collect and analyze data, and engage stakeholders to drive governance, assurance and continuous improvement of VMO workforce and claims management.

The role is a temporary full-time position offering a competitive salary and NSW Health benefits.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills and high level computer literacy, including data management, analysis, trending and interpretation of complex operational, workforce and financial information to support evidence based decision making.
• Organisational and project coordination skills, including the ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver high quality, customer focused outcomes.
• Knowledge of, or experience in medical workforce and governance, with sound understanding of the principles of relevant industrial instruments, preferably those relating to Visiting Medical Officers.

• Provide project, analytical and administrative support to the VMO Oversight Program.
• Coordinate and manage projects, the collection and analysis of data, and engagement with stakeholders for governance, assurance and continuous improvement of VMO workforce and VMO claims management processes.
