Job summary

SA Health's Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) is seeking a Technical Developer to build and maintain data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI reporting solutions that support performance monitoring across Flinders Medical Centre, Noarlunga Hospital, and the broader network.

Reporting to the Principal Technical Analyst & Developer, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure data processes meet SA Health standards and deliver reliable reporting outcomes, while upholding

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to the development of reporting systems and applications within a complex organisational environment.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
• Self-motivated and organised, with a track record of managing workloads, meeting deadlines, and adapting to shifting priorities.
• Sound judgement when identifying and resolving complex problems, with the ability to document and implement practical solutions within agreed constraints.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI reporting solutions that support performance monitoring and decision-making across the network.
• Conduct systems analysis to identify data extraction requirements, document business rules, and design tools that meet operational and administrative needs.
• Partner with stakeholders across SALHN to ensure data processes meet SA Health standards and deliver reliable, high-quality reporting outcomes.
• Uphold SA Health data governance standards while proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and team capability.
