Job summary

Cancer Institute NSW is seeking a Health Manager Level 2 to lead exploratory data analysis and deliver insights for NSW cancer care. You will validate cancer data, build reproducible code, and develop dashboards to support decision making.

Required are strong R and SQL skills, experience with Power BI or Shiny, and familiarity with Git. A public health or data science qualification is preferred, with cloud/ETL exposure advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience building dashboards and reports for decision making.
• Version control with Git and basic knowledge of cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform data validation and QA of cancer-related data and reports.
• Develop standardised code and templates for automated outputs.
• Create charts, tables and dashboards from diverse data sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver insights for policy and care.
• Work with modern data platforms and ETL/ELT processes.
