Job summary

Head Start Delivery Coordinator is a role within the Jobs, Skills and Pathways team to support Head Start in Victorian government schools. The role focuses on coordinating engagement with government schools, maintaining relationships with SBAT support programs, and ensuring consistent, high-quality SBAT delivery.

The Head Start program supports students in years 10 to 12 to participate in School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative relationships between stakeholders.
• Exemplary use of data and digital literacy to support program planning and operations.
• Ability to coordinate day-to-day program operations, identify risks, manage priorities, and resolve issues.
• Model and promote Department values in practice and professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Head Start engagement with Victorian government schools.
• Oversee relationships between schools and SBAT support programs to ensure consistent SBAT delivery.
• Maintain quality and delivery standards of Head Start across Victorian government schools.
• Support and reflect on practice to continually improve program outcomes.
