Job summary

Department of Families, Fairness & Housing is recruiting a Managing Principal Solicitor to oversee the delivery of legal services for Homes Victoria’s major projects, including the High-rise Redevelopment Program. The role reports to the Head of Legal, Corporate, Construction and Property and focuses on the social housing portfolio.

The successful candidate will supervise a team of lawyers and work with internal teams and external advisors to provide strategic legal guidance and drive system

Responsibilities

• Lead the provision of authoritative and specialist advice on complex legal issues in the delivery of high quality legal services for Homes Victoria's major projects.
• Supervise and manage a team of lawyers including senior solicitors and solicitors.
• Advise internal teams and external advisors/stakeholders on legal matters related to social housing and redevelopment programs.
