Big Loaf in WA is seeking a Sr Pastry Supervisor (Head of Pastry) to lead a pastry team of 6–10 across a busy shop and wholesale operations. You will drive daily and weekly pastry production, develop systems, and uphold high standards of quality and care in every bake.

You will guide on-the-bench work and in leadership, ensuring the team stays efficient, collaborative, and focused on superb results. This role involves flexible hours to support the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to fulfil our daily and weekly pastry production.
• Operate and continuously improve the systems in the department.
• Ensure every product is the best possible version of itself with great ingredients and technique.
• Create a culture of best practice cooking with technical expertise and creativity.
• Champion seasonal, local ingredients and specials.
• Plan production, manage stock and rosters, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
